Reliance Industries Limited announced Jio TV Plus at the 43rd AGM this week. The company has tied up with several OTT platforms. Because of this agreement, users of Reliance Jio TV Plus will get many services simultaneously on their set-top boxes. It is believed that the way Reliance Jio created a panic in telecom, Jio TV Plus is going to do a feat in the content distribution (TV) market. Here we share some information on Reliance Jio Tv+.
What is Jio TV?
In the AGM, the annual meeting, Reliance also presented a demo of this service. It is a TV content aggregator that will offer 12 OTT platforms, TV channels, apps, and many other services simultaneously to the Jio set-top box user. The user interface of Jio TV Plus was also shown in the meeting and it was also told how it is equipped with advanced technology like voice search.
In Jio TV Plus, the company has put together Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Hotstar, Sony Live, G5, Lionsgate Play, Jio Cinema, Shemaroo Top Global OTT Platform. Earlier these different OTT platforms had to open different subscriptions and apps. But now they will be found in one place.
